A suspended chord is a chord in which the 3rd is replaced or accompanied by either a perfect 4th or a major 2nd note.
Suspended 4th:
Noted as "Xsus" or "Xsus4"
Composed of 1st + perfect 4th + perfect 5th notes, of X ascending chromatic scale.

Suspended 2nd:
Noted as "Xsus2"
Composed of 1st + major 2nd + perfect 5th notes, of X ascending chromatic scale.

Major 4th:
Noted as "X4"
Composed of X major chord (X) + the perfect 4th, of X ascending chromatic scale.

Added 2nd:
Noted as "X2"
Composed of X major chord (X) + the major 2nd, of X ascending chromatic scale. Usually replaceable by Xadd9.

Added 5th:
Noted as "X5"
Composed of X major chord (X) + the perfect 5th (another one), of X ascending chromatic scale.

Power Chords:
Noted as "X5"
Composed of the bare 1st and 5th notes, of X ascending chromatic scale.
