Learning the Guitar:
1. Get a guitar - buy one, borrow one, hire one, what ever. Its very difficult to understand the guitar and the music theory or the fundamental physics without the instrument.

3. Its best said on the outset that the best way to learn the guitar is to get a personal tutor to get you through the hoops.

4. You need a fixed amount of time every day, or at least, every couple of days to learn and practice the guitar if you wish to master it.

5. The guitar will give you lots of painful fingers for the first few (about six) months, till the callouses fully develop on your fingers. Just plough through - its not that excruciating. Guitar is definitely a no-pain-no-gain thing - so keep that in mind. It will be hard, but it will be fruitful in the end.

6. Music is a vast and complicated subject and. For the basic level players who can not enroll for an college degree in music, a simple text book would be helpful. This free music theory e-book is available, on this site. This is not meant to be a substitute for standard textbooks though. It is useful for at home unsupervised study. If you have any difficulties or certain points that you wish to be more clearly explained, post a comment on the relevant page and I'll try and get back to you as soon as as can.

7. Never get demoralised. Hammer on.

Hope you find this useful and best of luck!!.
